By 2:30 we were ready. We pulled out of the parking garage and headed down to 5th Ave. To our utter amazement and delight, who was pulling out onto 5th from the Marriot at the same time? Yep, you guessed it...a train of *NSYNC buses. At this point, we lost it. We all began screaming, fumbling for cameras, and hyperventilating. Erin is hanging out of the window waving while Lindsay is videotaping. We follow the buses for a while, but then veer off to take a short cut to the stadium. We then park and run like gazelles to the unloading dock. Just as the buses begin to pull in, a mad rush of girls and mothers swoops in. A scene much like that of a European soccer game ensues. Luckily, no one one was injured. Afterwards, the four of us regrouped. None of us saw much except for what appeared to be Joey's nose from underneath the window blind. We also saw Steve Fatone. And let me just say, this boy has definitely gotten better looking. He has amazing brown curly hair.

After that excitement had passed, we went to meet up with an *NSYNC merchandise representative. Through connections, we were able to help pass out *NSYNC photo coupons and postcards. For our work, we were given special passes to wear and free merchandise. This turned out to be a pretty amusing activity. Girls, who noticed our badges, continually ran up to us asking us if we knew the guys and begging to be taken backstage. We felt pretty damn cool.
