We embarked for our first concert experience hours early. We left prepared. We had cameras, extra film, and the Kellogg's box tops we had spent weeks collecting for our chance to win backstage passes. After arriving at the venue, we waited in the Kellogg's line for over an hour, with rioting mothers, for our big chance to win. Of course, neither of us picked the winning ticket. We weren't surprised. We never win anything. Afterwards we found our seats (last row of pavillion) and enjoyed the incredible concert. It was everything we expected and more. On the way home from the concert, we devised a plan. We pulled over, found an ancient map from the glove compartment, and proceeded to head in the direction of Pittsburgh in search of the boys. After an hour of driving on back roads we almost gave up. However, we spotted a comforting sight...an Eat'n Park. We stopped, ate, and learned that we were only 10 minutes from the city. Thus, we continued our journey. At 2:30 am, we spotted the tour buses parked in front of the Westin William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh!!! You can imagine our excitement. We circled the block several times, while contemplating what to do. Erin refused to park for two reasons: 1) She can't parallel park 2) She is chicken shit. Therefore, Lindsay got out of the car, took a few pictures of the buses, and talked to a small group of girls near the hotel entrance. Erin continued to drive around the block. From her investigating, Lindsay learned that all the boys were in their rooms except for Joey who was in the lounge. Because we didn't want to invade Joey's personal space, and because we doubted we would be allowed in, we decided to head home, thus, ending our adventure. Although we never caught an upclose glimpse of the guys, we still had an awesome time.
