Finally, at 7:30 we entered the stadium. Let me just say...we had AWESOME seats. We were 12 rows back in Chris' family's section. This seemed appropriate considering we were practically friends of the family (ok, not quite, but Lindsay did talk to Chris' grandma at ALF). Not only did we see Chris' grandma, aunt, and mother, but we also saw Lynn Harless, Justin's friend Trace, and Chris' girlfriend Danielle. Wow. She is gorgeous. The "I Drive Myself Crazy" video doesn't do her justice. The show itself was simply incredible. Ron played and sung well. Innosense was fun, and Pink sounds even better live than she does on the radio. *NSYNC was incredible, perfect, beautiful, charming, etc. Everything we want in husbands in more. Ok, that's kinda extreme, but you get our point. Highlights of the show included: Chris wearing a Steeler jersey, Chris videotaping the audience during his solo in "I Drive Myself Crazy," JC falling during "Bye Bye Bye," Justin's beatboxing, and the moving platform during "This I Promise You." Oh yeah...the PG-13 choreography for "Space Cowboy" and "Digital Getdown" wasn't too bad either. On in all, the concert was an unforgettable feast for both the eyes and ears. As we left the concert (both physically and emotionally drained), we were surprised to find a large gathering around our car. In fact, a few people were actually sitting on it. We quickly learned that Mike, a member of Pittsburgh's own boyband Crush, was performing. He knew the entire choreography for "Bye Bye Bye" and "It's Gonna Be Me." Hello. He was very impressive. Later, Rogelio, another Crush member, joined him. The three of us watched while Lindsay videotaped. Lins and Amanda even made chit-chat with the boys. Who knows, one day they could make it big, and we'll be able to say we knew them when. In conclusion, though we didn't meet the right boyband members, we had an unbelievable time. We still smile every time we think of that evening and of how close we were to the boys. How these 5 guys are capable of affecting us so deeply, I'm not sure. But it sure is fun.
